'Happy Birthday'
happy birthday, mummy. birthday..how ironic.. we went to visit her. paid some money to the workers over there to plant the japanese roses around the small plot of corner land. the last time we tried to bring it from our home and plant, it couldn't grow. definitely need the workers help. she really love flowers, hopefully the next time we go, it'll be full of flowers. saddened.solemn.silence.grief.pain.exhausting. just tired. we told her we're going to china in 2 week's time..dad promised to go with her to china for holidays but couldn't make it, so now he's going with me, it'll always be an unfulfilled wish for him. today is the first time I heard words that I've never heard in my entire life, well basically larhs.think on the bright side, I get to skip school for a week :p..-_-' no..the workload..I better get some stuff done before I go.
Oh ya, we went to melaka ytd to get my uncle to sign some documents too.yeahs, went all the way there. After picking up my 2 aunties from seremban, we went down to melaka to visit my uncles and aunties. and can u imagine the jam..due to the long weekend holidays..dammit.To go to my uncle's house, we need to pass by bandar melaka..yes..the city of melaka..the busiest, touristy spot. we were stuck there just there for like an hour itself.gosh -_-'.and yes we passby the jonker street, the red house, the ship area..the mend the river already, now they even have boat rides at the river that lead out to straits of melaka. To many, melaka is an exciting place to go..but somehow to me..melaka is just melaka. Probably is the countless time I have to go to melaka during childhood days, yes at least a year once,visit aunties and dad's fren in melaka during CNY. Probably there's where the excitement of melaka wore off. I don't seems to understand what is this hoo-hah surrounding melaka about. yes, I understand it's a historical culture whatever bullshit blabla.. city. But when you know what's there in melaka, you'll find it is just another city..in fact a boring one. There's the zoo, a famosa, butterfly farm, crocodile farm, and do you know there's a bee farm over there..where they rare bees..and dun forget the touristy spot jonker street, red house, now the ship..my god -.- and they build many shopping complexes already, famous one -->jusco. and oh don't forget the melaka central station for the bus. it's pretty nice..and my aunts said that the jonker street thingy is just to basically con tourist -.- nothing much there lar..yalah u get to see funny things, the baskers, the performers..and stalls..but then that's it lar..what budaya street is that..that's just man-made crap. It's more worthwhile to see the old building and structures. And yeah one time the stupid gov renovate the red house and paint it blue..lol?now they paint it back red.HAHAHAHA..that's just plain stupid. red house in blue?rofl. in the end they still painted it back red.what a waste of time and money. I dunno, somehow if you asked me to spend money and go on a trip to here, I wouldn't. well if it's free then I won't mind tagging along. Because I'm not paying to get stuck in a jam for hours just to see some places to con tourist. -.-. okie..fine put it this way, I can come here anytime I want..well not anytime lar , but basically I can come here lar by free transportation of car to visit my uncles, not that we visit them that often but still...well and yesh we get to eat good food. well cheap good food one thing I can't denied about that XD. anyway I saw this long queue at this chicken rice shop place..my god that queue was horrible.we were wondering what was that crowd about. then we saw it -.- it was a queue to this restaurant.the hainan chicken rice which is said to be famous. well..why dun u all just go to hainan in china and try it instead of coming all da way here and queue for hours which is something not even original. eat nyonya food lar for god sake..come here eat chicken rice..swt larh -.-''. And guess what, that's gonna be worst once that eye of msia open at melaka..and yes I saw it, passby it, it's not happily sitting on the seaside..well beach..looking towards the sea and they building entertainment thingy like theme park around it larhs..basically it's just sorta near my uncle house. opposite the big highway there -.-'. I can see it from my uncle's house even.Its just opposite lah.It's gonna be 10x worst the jam..my god..many singaporeans like to come here..I see many SG cars..imagine that once that eye of msia open.and that thing u know cost how much yeah..4,000,000 or was it 400,000,000?duno lah!smtg liddat..!just to set up and all..waste of money and stupid!!!!!it's just a big ferris wheel larh to con tourist again and wanna copy london eye..=.= be original lah ppl..=.=' Oh btw that tan hock seng which sell the famous dodol place..I heard that the dunno wad stuff I forgot not that nice anymore..dunno wad still okie..aiya forget la.. Anyways yeah,not trying to be sacarstic of cynical here...but I just feel melaka is just melaka.nothing much to be excited about as in the big hoo-hah .maybe the old myth and stories, yes lah interestingm but other than that not really, it's pretty much boring . Seriously, I rather go to penang, PD, redang,langkawi...than melaka.Kinda reluctant to go melaka actually. Strange. Probably the excitement just wore off I guess during childhood days..or is it just me?
